Something for the Handgun Hunter! Here is something a little different than our typical “over the top” custom builds. We do quite a few specific upgrades on the big Super Redhawks for handgun hunters, so naturally these features are what we have incorporated into this offering. Based on the ever popular .44 magnum, we have dubbed this offering the “North American Hunter.” It features all the most necessary and desirable features that are needed in a rugged hard use handgun. A superb action and reliability tuning that you will love, with a crisp, clean breaking,  creep free single action at 2.5 lbs, with a smooth non stacking double action. With added great  interchangeable iron sights or you can scope it utilizing the excellent Ruger Integral scope ring system. This gun will perform beautifully for a long time in the field for any medium sized game in North America. We have always paid a high degree of attention cosmetic and ergonomic detail, so we even added a few Gemini Customs hallmark features into this awesome hunting tool. This is the Pro Grade configuration for the excellent, yet hard hitting Ultra-lightweight 5 shot .357 magnum S&W 340 series revolvers. Prized for their 11 ounce weight and chambered in the powerful .357 magnum  making it easy ease and convenient to conceal and carry, but hard recoil and muzzle flip make it a “Beast” to shoot. We built a number of these 340 S&W magnums several years ago, when parts, barrels in particular were more easily procured. Both new revolvers and replacement parts are in short supply, now so this little jewell is hard to duplicate. I managed to procure a couple of 640 barrels late last year and  I will have one more of these under construction as soon as possible. The following services and parts were used to produce a powerful, easily concealable revolver with reduced recoil and nearly eliminated muzzle flip and does it with a durable solid one piece, model 640 SS S&W barrel with V8 Hybra-Port porting.

You may have noticed……Current availability of new production revolvers from S&W® and Ruger® is very low and demand is very high. Seems to be a lot of this phenomenon going around these days.  Our shop has had  significant numbers of new revolvers on backorder from our distributors since June of 2020.  They are still on backorder! We have recently managed to snag two excellent little 642 S&W® Airweights and we hope to get a few more in the upcoming weeks. It’s a great little deep concealment revolver, engineered for light weight and powerful ballistics with the .38 special +P rating. Simple to operate and effective when needed, with DAO it’s especially easy to carry and conceal. We have upgraded these great little workhorse guns with our  very popular Pocket Protector Package and even added a few additional services that enhance reliability , accuracy and ease of operation. Configured with our V8 Hybra-port™ porting, these little lightweights enjoy greatly reduced recoil, snap, and muzzle flip. It’s more like shooting a .22LR. than a .38+P.  The barrel throat has been polished at 5 degrees, with a polished radius crown, micro-polished cylinder chambers for smooth loading and unloading, and the actions have been both smoothed and lightened. An extended length firing pin and spring assembly, along with de-activated storage lock add to reliability and ease of operation. Wolff Springs throughout are standard and certainly the best that money can buy. For both ergonomics, durability, enhanced carry characteristics, we have added a set of Hogue Extreme G10 grips. All of this is available until they are gone for $1310.80.
